The Avery Dennison double-sided tape.

Many of the products for sale in our shop attach with Avery Dennison AFB 6612G double-sided adhesive, distributed by M5 Double-Sided Adhesives. This viscoelastic acrylic foam offers excellent adhesion to a wide range of surfaces, such as metal (aluminum, stainless steel, copper, zinc, tin, lead), glass, alkyd enamel, epoxy paint, polyurethane, and polyester.

Double-sided adhesives in the AFB 66 line withstand high temperatures (over 100°C) and vibration. They also offer excellent long-term hold and are used in many automotive and industrial applications.

Instructions for applying Avery Dennison double-sided tape.

• The surface involved in bonding should be thoroughly cleaned with a lint-free cloth soaked in a 1:1 solution of water and alcohol, taking care to clean further with water only in order to remove further residue;
• The surface to which the article is to be applied must be clean and dry, taking care to verify that they are free of grease, oil, water condensation and any contaminants that could impair the application;
• Place the article on the surface and shape it if necessary before fixing;
• Remove the double-sided adhesive film already included with the product and apply the item to the surface making it adhere perfectly;
• Allow the bonding to solidify for at least 72 hours;
• The ideal application temperature is between 21°C and 38°C;
• Applications at temperatures below 10°C are not recommended.
